عرضت قناة الجزيرة في برنامجها “في الواجهة” يوم ٣٠ يونيو عام ٢٠٠٩ حلقة تتكلم عن الضغوط التي واجهها مجمع بازالت الروسي المختص بتصنيع قاذف أر بي جي-٢٩ والذي حازته فصائل المقاومة في العراق ولبنان والذي ساهم بتدمير الكثير من دبابات الأبرامز الامريكية في العراق ودبابات الميركافا في جنوب لبنان
وكان الضغط الاكبر على بازالت من قبل اللوبي الإسرائيلي في روسيا أيضًا صنفت المخابرات الأمريكية هذا السلاح تهديد على الأمن القومي الأمريكي بسبب الخسائر التي تعرضوا لها في العراق على يد فصائل المقاومة أيام الأحتلال.
