▫️20 января 1944 года бойцы Красной Армии вошли в Новгород. Знамя 1258-го стрелкового полка 378-й стрелковой дивизии 59-й армии было поднято над Новгородским кремлем.
▫️В Москве по этому случаю в этот день дали салют. Новгород находился в оккупации с 19 августа 1941 года.
▫️На воинских захоронениях, мемориалах, у памятников героям войны в Нижнем Новгороде состоятся церемонии возложения цветов и венков.
▫️Одним из главных событий станет общегородской торжественный митинг, который состоится стелы «Город воинской славы».
