In the reign of Mario Bergolio aka Francis, he has sacked 5 bishops for no other reason than they allowed the Latin Mass in their diocese. Technically, 8 bishops- 6 diocesan and 2 Cardinals. I can't think of a time in Roman Church history that a pontiff wielded so much power over day to day life of a diocesan priest.
I have been living, purposely, like a Catholic in the Middle Ages- with no care for Roman nonsense. But it seems that I cannot continue this path if we are entering Napoleonic Rule vis a Mitre. What is this wild ultramonantism- a complete novelty.
