В Юго-Западном государственном университете состоялось внеочередное заседание учёного совета под председательством ректора Сергея Емельянова.

Ключевым пунктом повестки дня стало присвоение звания «Почётный профессор ЮЗГУ» командиру спецназа «Ахмат» генерал-лейтенанту Апти Алаудинову.

Ректор лично вручил Алаудинову обязательные атрибуты торжественной церемонии: мантию, шапочку-конфедератку и аттестат профессора.

В своём ответном слове генерал-лейтенант поблагодарил вуз за оказанное ему доверие и пообещал внести вклад в патриотическое воспитание и формирование твёрдой гражданской позиции студентов ЮЗГУ.
