Памятник погибшим военным расположен на территории городского кладбища Новомичуринска. Он установлен в рамках областной программы поддержки местных инициатив. С предложением об этом выступили родственники военнослужащих, погибших в ходе военной операции, совместно с руководством администрации городского поселения.
