БМП была произведена на заводе компании в населённом пункте Унтерлюс в Нижней Саксонии.
«Там она теперь будет опробована вооружёнными силами, с тем чтобы как можно скорее могло быть принято решение о серийном производстве», – заявил журналистам глава концерна Армин Паппергер.
Известно, что Lynx уже производится в Венгрии для вооружённых сил этой страны.
Rheinmetall хочет производить БМП этого типа вместе с итальянским концерном Leonardo и рассчитывает собирать их на своём заводе в западной части Украины.
