Читающей публике, а тем более тем, кто интересуется Латинской Америкой, настоятельно рекомендую его труды. Пару недель назад довелось посетить его могилу в Гаване и дом, где он проживал последние годы жизни. Сейчас там расположен Фонд Алехо Карпентьера. Договорились о сотрудничестве.
