1-3 февраля в Digital Humanities Center ИТМО пройдет студенческая конференция Never Ending Conference (NEC).

Самоорганизованный коллектив исследователей философии, культуры и общества приглашает слушателей для обсуждения:

🧵 горизонтальной организации сообществ,
🧵 иерархических и неиерархических методологий и эпистемологий,
🧵 метафор горизонтов и геологических образов,
🧵 дивергентных групп, мест, времён, событий и практик.

В оптике полидисциплинарности коллеги из ЕУ, НИУ ВШЭ, МГУ, СПбГУ, МГИМО и ИТМО расскажут о том, что искренне увлекает, пока изучаешь Хайдеггера, Башляра, Фуко, корейскую поп-музыку или русский музыкальный бизнес.
В программе — кофебрейки с китайским чаем и хорошим кофе.

The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. "He has to start being more proactive and to find a real solution to this situation, not stay in standby without interfering. It's a very irresponsible position from the owner of Telegram," she said. Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
