Главный врач Сортавальской ЦРБ Александр Романов отметил, что такая больница сегодня нужна не только городу, но и всему Приладожью. Здесь будет дневной стационар с возможностью круглосуточного пребывания. Рассматривается вопрос и о строительстве вертолетной площадки для санавиации, чтобы в случае необходимости экстренно эвакуировать пациентов.
