Книга вошла в короткий список премии «Просветитель» 2020 года. Как всегда, мы будем обсуждать и содержание книги, и то, что мы ждем от исторического нон-фикшена, можем ли мы надеяться на достоверность любого описания истории, о самой возможности понять людей другой эпохи.
Заседания книжного клуба состоятся 24, 25 и 26 октября, чтобы участники могли выбрать для себя удобную дату. И 31 октября мы встретимся с автором книги, чтобы поговорить с ним об истории истории.
