Вихованці Духовно-просвітницького центру здійснили навчальне паломництво до Красногірського монастиря

13 лютого 2025 року, з благословення митрополита Черкаського і Канівського Феодосія, юні вихованці Духовно-просвітницького центру Черкаської єпархії здійснили навчальну паломницьку поїздку до Свято-Покровського Красногірського жіночого монастиря.

Паломництво було приурочене прийдешньому святу Стрітення Господнього. Однією з благочестивих традицій у Православ'ї є освячення цього дня церковних свічок.

Цей чин безпосередньо пов'язаний з євангельським оповіданням про Стрітення, де праведний Симеон називає Богонемовля Христа "світлом в одкровення язиків" (Лк. 2:32). Свічка символізує світло Христове, що осяює світ. Вона також є образом людської душі, яка має горіти любов'ю до Бога.
