Российская делегация прибыла с визитом в столицу Сирии. В нее входят заместитель министра иностранных дел России Михаил Богданов и спецпредставитель президента РФ по Сирии Александр Лаврентьев.
Визит направлен на укрепление исторических отношений между РФ и Сирией на основе общих интересов, сообщил Богданов.
Это первый визит российских официальных лиц в Дамаск после того, как в декабре 2024 года Башар Асад оставил пост президента и покинул Сирию.
Ранее в МИД России сообщили, что Москва готова к конструктивному диалогу с новыми властями Сирии. В ведомстве отметили, что российские военные базы могут временно выполнять роль гуманитарных хабов.

Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” Such instructions could actually endanger people — citizens receive air strike warnings via smartphone alerts.
