Президент Узбекистана Шавкат Мирзиеев подписал еще один законопроект по пресечению радикальных настроений в обществе — уголовную ответственность за умышленные легкие телесные повреждения из религиозных предрассудков. Вероятно, это сделано потому, что некоторые проповедники, в том числе и в России, говорят о позволении «побивать» женщин в исламе.
И именно мусульманские страны первыми вводят меры, пресекающие радикальные настроения в обществе. Так, в Узбекистане законодательно запрещено ношение никабов, отращивание бород мужчинам и незаконное религиозное обучение детей.
