2 сентября 2004 г. в захваченную террористами школу №1 г.Беслана, несмотря на смертельную угрозу, с целью переговоров, твердой походкой вошел мужчина средних лет. У него было очень сосредоточенное и уставшее выражение лица. Гражданские черные брюки и серый пиджак не смогли скрыть в нем офицерскую выправку. Это был первый Президент Ингушетии, Герой Советского Союза, генерал-лейтенант Аушев Руслан Султанович.

В ходе переговоров с главарем террористов по кличке «полковник» ему удалось вызволить 26 заложников - это были женщины с грудными детьми. Он требовал освободить больше заложников, но бандиты отказали.

Необходимо понимать, что террористы вызывали на переговоры ряд других российских чиновников, но вошел в школу только Р.Аушев, которого они даже не требовали…

Даже если бы он спас хоть одного ребенка его приезд стоил того. Спасибо вам, Руслан Султанович!

In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. So, uh, whenever I hear about Telegram, it’s always in relation to something bad. What gives? Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
