Разработанная Центром работ под напряжением траверса состоит из несущей конструкции из композитного диэлектрического стеклопластика с металлическими фиксаторами провода и стандартного металлического хомута Х1. Такая конструкция исключает необходимость обслуживания и снижает трудоемкость монтажа, в том числе при использовании методов работ под напряжением. Надёжные фиксирующие зажимы исключают необходимость использования традиционных уязвимых элементов (проволочных вязок, изоляторов и колпачков). Траверса ТИ-1 запатентована Центром работ под напряжением и 4 года успешно эксплуатируется на объектах «Сетевой компании», в рамках опытно-промышленной эксплуатации на ЛЭП «Татнефти» и «Роснефти».
