Сегодня их награждали памятными медалями 80-летия Великой Победы. Столетние, седые, улыбающиеся. Прошедшие за целый век своей жизни столько, сколько нам и вообразить тяжело. Войну, горе, много горя... победу, отстраивание страны заново, падение этой созданной их руками страны, её возрождение...

Они смотрят на нас. Их осталось уже очень мало, но они всё ещё с нами, они смотрят. И верят в нас.

И у нас нет права не оправдать их доверия.

Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows. Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever."
