Церковь в стиле русского классицизма выстроили на средства помещика князя Виктора Кочубея. Здание имело колокольню и один престол во имя Архангела Михаила. В декабре 1935 года храм закрыли, было начато его переоборудование.
Комитет культурного наследия области утвердил предмет охраны для нового реестрового памятника - это колонны тосканского ордера, арочные ниши, полукруглую апсиду, профилированный карниз с небольшим выступом, гладкий фриз с прямолинейной тягой, аттик, арочные проемы и крестовые своды внутри здания.
