Зампред комитета Госдумы Александр Коган отметил, что законопроект уже согласован с Минприроды и учёл предложения от Москвы, Подмосковья и Татарстана.
Документ предусматривает передачу регионам права устанавливать правила обращения с отходами, вести региональные информсистемы для их учета, а также контролировать исполнение договоров. Кроме того, субъекты смогут определять перечень отходов для переработки и повторного использования, а не захоронения.
