Ранее во время инфочаса Ляэнеметс, отвечая на вопрос депутата Варро Вооглайда, сказал, что никакого русского православия якобы не существует, а для православных в Эстонии всегда останется церковь Константинопольского патриархата.
"Удивительное невежество. Русское православие существует много веков, и оно заметно отличается от того, что проповедует Константинополь. Ставить между двумя церквями знак равенства – всё равно, что класть в одну тарелку протестантство и католицизм", – отметил Чаплыгин.
