У мене завжди були якісь on-and-off стосунки з Alkaline Trio та зі Скібою персонально, таке враження, що я випускав гурт з поля зору в найважливіші моменти їхньої карʼєри, але не цього разу. Важливість десятого альбому Тріо неможливо применшити, це одночасно й саморефлексія, погляд вперед і назад, та переосмислення своїх досягнень у щось нове. Цікаво, що Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs виглядає, як остання глава, а відчувається, як перша у пізньокарʼєрному ренесансі, тому що в енергійності та якомусь куражі йому не позбавити. Хоча й мудрість теж присутня, я навіть вловив щось схоже на The Smiths, як в ліриці, так й у вайбі. Платівка трохи втрачає момент напівдороги, намагаючись знайти баланс між бенгерами та баладами, але все одно залишає дуже позитивні враження.
✅ якщо для запису такого альбому, треба було бути звільним з blink-182, то воно того варте;
