А вообще, первый договор о сотрудничестве в военной сфере между РФ и Южной Осетией появился в 2009 году. В следующем году, страны заключили соглашение об объединённой российской военной базе на территории Южной Осетии. А новый договор, видимо, продолжает линию военного взаимодействия.
