Сыгравший в нем главную роль Джордж Артур устроил показ в доме Чаплина. Фильм понравился Пикфорд и Фэрбенксу, "Юнайтед Артистс" приобрела права на прокат за 20 тысяч долларов. Чаплин предложил фон Штернбергу поставить драму о рыбаках с Эдной Первиэнс, Пикфорд попросила написать сценарий для ее следующего фильма.

The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice.
