В Новосибирске фестиваль документального кино о новой культуре пройдет с 5 по 16 октября — в «Победе» и «Каро 10 Галерея». Из интересного в программе — «Мы были "Детками"» и «Кубрик о Кубрике», «Рейв в Иране» и «B-Movie: Шум и ярость в Западном Берлине». Российские фильмы очень привлекательны — «Про снег» (про Териберку), «Выход» (про Чукотку) и «Куда мы едем?» (про московское метро). Некоторые фильмы в день открытия Beat Weekend станут доступны онлайн на Кинопоиске (по подписке), но в кинотеатрах, конечно, круче.

The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. "There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices.
