Протокол в отношении пассажира, которого зовут Сергей Габов, составил 31 января оперативный дежурный Приволжского ЛУ МВД России на транспорте, так как во время его конфликта с попутчиком поезд находился на станции Ивановский в одноименном поселке Гагаринского района Саратова. В протоколе говорится, что, находясь в вагоне поезда № 13, мужчина осудил проведение СВО, а также сказал, что желает помогать Украине. Это подтвердили проводник поезда и несколько пассажиров, один из которых вызвал полицию.
В суде Габов признал вину и сказал, что раскаивается в содеянном.

Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers.
