Во Владикавказе открылся верхний храм святого мученика Иоанна Воина.

Это одноглавая однопрестольная церковь, которую построили на территории мемориального кладбища, над братской могилой неизвестных солдат, погибших в Великой Отечественной войне.

Закладной камень освящен 17 октября 2010 года. Церковь возвели по проекту архитектора С.Г. Гончарова. Строительство храма началось в 2012 году по благословению духовника Святейшего Патриарха Кирилла старца Илия.

Храм открыт ежедневно с 8:30 до 18:00. При посещении рекомендуется соблюдать дресс-код.
