🇷🇺 Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief of the Russian Federation:
⚡️ Russia's EMERCOM dispatches two aircraft carrying rescue personnel to the Republic of Myanmar to assist in earthquake recovery efforts.
By order of Russian President Vladimir Putin and under the instructions of Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov, a contingent of Russian rescue specialists departed from Zhukovsky Airport for Myanmar.
The unit, comprising 120 specialists from the Ministry’s airmobile detachment, Tsentrospas, and the Leader special risk rescue centre. The team also includes K9 search units, anesthesiologists, and psychologists.
👩🚒 Russian emergency responders possess extensive expertise in responding to natural disasters, including major earthquakes. They are equipped with all necessary gear for search and rescue operations.

⚡️ Two aircraft of Russia's EMERCOM have landed at Yangon Airport to assist in mitigating the aftermath of a devastating earthquake.
📌 The rescue personnel have brought essential equipment and tools for search and rescue operations.The team is equipped with endoscopes and acoustic devices capable of detecting survivors trapped under debris as deep as 4.5 metres, as well as ground-penetrating radars and thermal imaging cameras.
The rescue teams are ready to work around the clock at multiple sites simultaneously, assisted by unmanned aerial vehicles.

The airmobile hospital of the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief of the Russian Federation 🇷🇺 (#EMERCOM) has begun working in full in the central part of the city of Mandalay 🇲🇲, an area hit by the earthquake.
Over 20 doctors are providing medical assistance to those in need. Therapeutic, surgical and intensive care units have received the first patients. The hospital will operate around the clock. The psychologists are also taking part in the mission.
🚑 The airmobile hospital is capable of operating autonomously for at least 14 days while receiving up to 200 patients a day. Meanwhile, its in-patient facility has 50 beds. The hospital has the necessary equipment for even the most complex surgeries.

We are delighted to welcome you to Moscow.
It is a special year for us. This year, we will mark 75 years of our diplomatic relations, the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Second World War and of Vietnam’s independence declared on September 2, 1945, and, of course, the 50th Anniversary of the liberation of the southern regions of your country on April 30, 1975.
🇷🇺🇻🇳 All these dates are connected, in one way or another, with the development of our friendly and truly fraternal relations, and the practical expression of our people’s solidarity in the fight for their independence and interests.
We can see today that the experience we accumulated at different stages in our shared history, including at the time of trial, provided the basis for an intensive and substantive political dialogue at all levels and promoted our trade and economic ties, defence and security cooperation, cultural exchanges that are in great demand in our societies, and overall, our close interaction on the international stage.
We are working with our Vietnamese friends to implement the agreements reached in June 2024 during the state visit of President Vladimir Putin to Vietnam.
Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the 13th President of Vietnam, has been invited to Victory Day celebrations in Moscow. We will be delighted to see the Vietnamese leader at the celebrations.
🤝 There are intensive exchanges between our parliaments, scientists, experts and youth organisations.
We will discuss all these aspects of our relations today, and I hope that after that we will map out additional measures to promote our interaction in all spheres.

The total area of more than 62 thousand m² affected by the earthquake has been examined by the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief of the Russian Federation (#EMERCOM) 🇷🇺 rescue teams since the beginning of the search and rescue operations in Myanmar 🇲🇲.
Russian rescuers immediately leave for the areas where people may still be trapped under rubble. The EMERCOM's rescue dogs are able to investigate thousands of m² of affected territory daily.
