Зенитно-ракетная бригада 36-й общевойсковой армии дислоцирована в Бурятии, относится к Восточному военному округу.
В 2017 году стала первой частью войсковой ПВО в Сибири и на Дальнем Востоке, получившей высокомобильные системы средней дальности "Бук-М3".
