На территории поймы реки Иртыш в районе Аққулы при координации прокуратуры задержана группа лиц, осуществлявшая незаконную вырубку деревьев.
Одним из задержанных оказался работник Павлодарского учреждения по охране лесов и животного мира.
В рамках досудебного расследования по части 3 статьи 340 и части 2 статьи 188 Уголовного кодекса сотрудниками полиции похищенный лес и орудия преступления изъяты.
Ущерб окружающей среде составил более 1,3 млн тенге.
В настоящее время досудебное расследование завершено, уголовное дело направлено в суд.
