شاهزاده رضا پهلوی در مطلبی که در شبکه‌های اجتماعی خود منتشر کرده با ابراز خرسندی از اقدام امروز دولت بریتانیا برای مقابله با نفوذ خصمانه جمهوری‌اسلامی نوشت: «اتخاذ چنین اقدام قاطعی، از جمله خواسته‌های من از دولت انگلیس در جریان سفر ماه گذشته‌ام به لندن بود. امیدوارم اقدامات بیشتری نیز برای مقابله با تهدید‌های رژیم اسلامی انجام گیرد.»
دولت بریتانیا امروز اعلام کرد هر شخصی که برای دولت ایران کار می‌کند یا به عنوان نماینده آن فعالیت دارد، باید حضور خود را در بریتانیا ثبت رسمی کند، در غیر این صورت با مجازات زندان مواجه خواهد شد. این اقدام دولت بریتانیا با هدف مقابله با نفوذ خارجی و تهدیدات امنیتی اعلام شده است. به گفته مقامات، این قانون بخشی از تدابیر گسترده‌تر برای محدود کردن فعالیت‌های ایران در خاک بریتانیاست.
