Недавно JR Central выпустила рекламный ролик с названием Meeting was special, который всем своим духом отсылает к легендарной рождественской рекламе 1988 года Hometown Express X'mas. И не только духом, ведь в обоих роликах главную роль играют чудесная Эри Фукацу и самая первая линия синкансэна - Токайдо-синкансэн.

Вместе с тем, видео 1988 года послужило по сути началом целой серии реклам под названием X'mas Express, с музыкой неподражаемого Тацуро Ямаситы на фоне, а точнее треком Christmas Eve, есть даже немного смонтированная версия под полную версию композиции.
