בנוסף, נמשכות פעולות הרס מבנים בשכונת זיתון בדרום העיר עזה, ג'באליה ובית חאנון בצפון הרצועה. מטוסי צה"ל ביצעו תקיפות אינטנסיביות בצפון-מערב הרצועה, כולל באזורים סודאניה, מוקדי מודיעין, ואל-כרמה.
בדרום הרצועה, סמוך לחאן יונס, דווח על ירי ארטילרי כבד וירי טנקים לעבר אזורים במזרח עבסאן החדשה.
