Житель Якутска гр.Я 10 марта создал группу в мессенджере WhatsApp под названием «Розыгрыш инструментов Якутск», после чего, не имея разрешения Правительства РФ, провел розыгрыш 40 лотерейных билетов.
По данному факту Управление Федеральной налоговой службы по РС(Я) 24 апреля возбудило в отношении гр.Я дело по ч.1 ст.14.27 КоАП РФ (незаконное проведение лотереи).
Суд, рассмотрев дело и установив, что гр.Я не зарегистрирован в качестве индивидуального предпринимателя и не является оператором или распространителем лотерей, 11 июня признал его виновным и назначил наказание в виде штрафа в размере 3 тыс рублей с конфискацией орудия совершения административного правонарушения, поручив судебным приставам уничтожить конфискованное.

On December 23rd, 2020, Pavel Durov posted to his channel that the company would need to start generating revenue. In early 2021, he added that any advertising on the platform would not use user data for targeting, and that it would be focused on “large one-to-many channels.” He pledged that ads would be “non-intrusive” and that most users would simply not notice any change. The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp.
