История флота начала ХХ века ознаменована появлением нового поколения артиллерийских военных кораблей — дредноутов (от англ. dreadnought — «бесстрашный», по имени первого корабля этого класса) или линкоров.
Первые дредноуты российского флота были разработаны на Балтийском заводе, создание первой серии кораблей было поручено корабелам Адмиралтейских верфей и Балтийского завода. Всего было построено четыре линкора серии: «Севастополь» (головной корабль), «Петропавловск», «Полтава» и «Октябрьская революция».
Эти корабли сыграли важную роль в защите нашей страны и флота во время Первой мировой, Гражданской и Великой Отечественной войн.

Multiple pro-Kremlin media figures circulated the post's false claims, including prominent Russian journalist Vladimir Soloviev and the state-controlled Russian outlet RT, according to the DFR Lab's report.
