Арбитражный суд Кемеровской области начал рассматривать иск Южно-Сибирского управления Росприроднадзора к АО "УК "Кузбассразрезуголь" о возмещении ущерба почвам на сумму свыше 1,2 млрд рублей.
В 2023 году ведомство сообщало о сходе отвала на "Краснобродском угольном разрезе", что привело к перекрытию земельных участков площадью около 280 тыс. квадратных метров. Эти земли были предоставлены компании для размещения производственных вскрышных отходов, а проектная документация получила положительное заключение экологической экспертизы.
"Кузбассразрезуголь" намерена представить свои доводы и возражения в суде, так что, результат тяжбы пока сложно предсказать. А вот что штраф ударит по и без того хиреющей отрасли, это наверняка.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. WhatsApp, a rival messaging platform, introduced some measures to counter disinformation when Covid-19 was first sweeping the world. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 230 points, or 0.7%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% and 2.2%, respectively. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion.
