Сотрудниками УФСБ России по Сахалинской области пресечена противоправная жителя областного центра 1989 г.р., который выполнял разведывательное задание по сбору стратегических сведений и фотоматериалов о Вооруженных силах России. В частности, в рамках этого сотрудничества мужчина выезжал в Белгородскую область. Собранные данные он пересылал сотруднику СБУ через иностранные мессенджеры.
В отношении мужчины возбуждено уголовное дело по ст. 275.1 УК России (сотрудничество на конфиденциальной основе с иностранным государством, международной либо иностранной организацией), ему избрана мера пресечения в виде заключения под стражу.

They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. Such instructions could actually endanger people — citizens receive air strike warnings via smartphone alerts.
