Напомним, помещение начального блока школы №8 поселка Большой Луг было закрыто в 2015 году из-за аварийного состояния. Ученики младших классов вынуждены заниматься в блоке старшей школы. Уроки проводятся в 2 смены.
В 2020 году стартовало строительство нового здания. Стоимость проекта составила порядка 240 млн рублей. Капитальный ремонт основного блока ожидается в 2024 году.
