☠️When the Norse god Tyr sacrificed his hand to the wolf Fenrir, he gave up something big to keep peace and protect others, showing guts and honor. In our own lives, becoming better men can mean letting go of easy comforts—like skipping late nights for early mornings, or ditching bad habits—to build strength, discipline, and respect from those around us.

CHAPTER III.
NORSE MYTHOLOGY COMPARED WITH THE GREEK.

"Dr. Dasent says the Norse mythology may hold its own against any other in the world. The fact that it is the religion of our forefathers ought to be enough to commend it to our attention.. "

Protection is critical—vulnerability means extinction, even today. We crave it instinctively, forged in a brutal era when survival hung by a thread. Fear of chaos fuels this relentless drive, - yesterday, today, always—pushing us to shield ourselves against the abyss that waits for the unprotected.

“Do not fear Death, it cannot kill you”.
In a tribal worldview, the individual steadfastly prioritizes the welfare of the community—the tribe or Folk—over conflicting personal desires, fueled by unwavering devotion to the collective. Just as their ancestors before them.

Forwarded from Pagan Revivalism
Fate is a Pagan concept, but also a fact of reality some call determinism. Some claim they can see fate and how it moves, but how?

There are many patterns we see in life, but why? The Norns weave the fates of all. And when one weaves a tapestry, patterns make the fabric more beautiful. When you zoom in you may not be able to see a pattern, but only when you zoom out do these things become clear.

Repeating patterns that have similarity are proof that Wyrd and all creation is this way. If things seem to be repeating, you are zoomed out looking at the Norn's Grand Design.

Patterns are also an indicator of either a new chapter in life or a cycle beginning or ending. Fate is something all must abide, but the Norn's are gracious. Luck through honorable deeds and sacrifices can influence fate to be woven in your favor. Take heed that the harder one tries to tip the scales, balance will be restored one way or another. Take this wisdom with you, and keep an eye out for patterns in your life.

Gods love you!
