Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. Lastly, the web previews of t.me links have been given a new look, adding chat backgrounds and design elements from the fully-features Telegram Web client.
