Продолжаем разговор о прекраснейших рукописях. Вот еще одна византийская — "Менологий Василия II" 979—989 годов (хранится в Ватикане).

Менология, минея — это церковный календарь. Рукопись содержит около 430 миниатюр с изображением различных святых. Они написаны на прекрасном золотом фоне, и на многих страницах бесподобная красота красок резко диссонирует с кровавыми пытками христианских мучеников.

Примечательно, что каждый рисунок подписан — всего над рукописью трудилось 8 художников.

А меня еще отдельно поражает, что это календарь только за полгода. То есть когда-то, скорей был и второй том. И какая-то паскуда его уничтожила.

The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare.
