Центральные банки мира увеличили чистые покупки золота в январе на 18 тонн, что подтверждает их устойчивый интерес к драгоценному металлу на фоне геополитических и экономических рисков, говорится в отчете Всемирного золотого совета (WGC).
Наибольший вклад в рост запасов внес Центральный банк Узбекистана, который пополнил свои резервы на 8 тонн, доведя их до 391 тонны (82% от общего объема резервов страны). Народный банк Китая (PBoC) продолжил наращивать запасы третий месяц подряд, добавив 5 тонн в январе. В результате золотые резервы КНР достигли 2 285 тонн, что составляет около 6% от международных резервов страны.
Среди продавцов выделяются Центральный банк России и Центральный банк Иордании, которые реализовали по 3 тонны золота каждый, а также Нацбанк Кыргызской Республики, продавший 2 тонны.
