Почетное право открывать фестиваль было возложено на фильм «Китайский пинг-понг: отпор из тупика», его режиссер Юй Баймэй выступил с приветственной речью, а после общался с гостями и отвечал на их вопросы. Заместитель директора Китайского киноархива Чжан Сюйся также взяла торжественное слово, поблагодарила собравшихся за проявленный интерес к киноискусству и пожелала приятного просмотра.

Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai.
