Один з варіантів переробки орками міни ПОМ-2 під скид.

Для цього вони використовують запал УДЗ з верхньою півсферою гранати РГО або РГН та обрізану банку від енергетика або газованого напою ну і звісно сама міна.

Звичайно, попередньо УДЗ взводиться (демонтуються піротехнічні стопори а також самоліквідатор, переводиться движок в бойове положення) та прибирається капсюль- детонатор.
У стакані верхньої півсфери робиться отвір, який дасть змогу форсу вогню від запалу, дістатися піротехнічного датчика міни.
Обрізана банка в цьому випаду виконує роль фіксатора та позиціювання півсфери.
