В Углегорском районе стартовала XI Спартакиада трудовых коллективов. Команды группы компаний ВГК приняли в ней активное участие. Да-да, именно команды, во множественном числе. Спорт — важная часть корпоративной культуры ВГК. Чтобы как можно больше наших коллег смогли участвовать в Спартакиаде, каждый актив теперь выступает отдельно.
ВГК на зимнем фестивале ГТО представляли 3 из 10 команд. Дебютанты из "ВГК-Перевозчик" лихо ворвались в турнирную таблицу сразу на третье место. 👏
Участники сдавали бег на лыжах, потягивание, отжимание, пресс и стрельбу. В личном первенстве на пьедестал поднялись: 🥇 Тамара Мин, Марина Бакицкая, Николай Расторгуев, Евгений Чупов, Андрей Черныш. 🥈 Евгения Машнина, Андрей Непомилуев, Александр Мариненко, Игорь Шевченко 🥉 Антон Дылыков.

Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever." But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea.
