[Kyiv, 17 January 2025] – The newly appointed Supervisory Board of Energoatom reconvened following its inaugural meeting held in July 2024, setting a course toward implementation of OECD standards on corporate governance, reinforcing its commitment to transparency, accountability, and strategic excellence.
✅ At its meeting the Board Members elected Jarek Niewierowicz as its Chair, and Michael Elliott Kirst as the Vice Chair. The Supervisory Board also established the Committee on Audit, which will be headed by Michael Elliott Kirst. Reflecting the current absence of a third independent Supervisory Board Member, the decisions on establishment of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees are expected to be made at the earliest opportunity once the Board receives legal determinations related to the qualified construction of these committees.
💬 The Supervisory Board acknowledged Energoatom’s critical role as a guarantor of national security and a cornerstone of the country’s energy stability.
