Сегодня побережье Краснодарского края буквально усыпано белыми мешками. Внутри — песок, смешанный с мазутом. Это результат работы сотен волонтёров, которые вышли убирать берег после разлива нефтепродуктов из двух танкеров, потерпевших крушение в Керченском проливе. Помогают все: бабушки, дедушки, девушки, дети и подростки.

Люди продолжают спасать и птиц, испачканных в мазуте. В местных ветеринарных центрах открылись специальные «помывочные», где пернатых моют, сушат и кормят.
