Сегодня на малой родине первого космонавта планеты Юрия Алексеевича Гагарина проходит целый комплекс праздничных мероприятий — в честь 91-летия со Дня его рождения.

Принять в них участие прибыли действующие лётчики-космонавты, Герои России, государственные деятели, представители епархии, а также жители и гости города — все те, кто чтит память великого земляка и стремится передать её будущим поколениям.

На центральной площади города вместе с ними присоединился к митингу и возложил цветы к памятнику Юрию Алексеевичу Гагарину.

Гордимся нашим выдающимся уроженцем Смоленской земли!
