После решения суда мэрия Читы отменила разрешение на митинг зоозащитников рядом с приютом. Чиновники предложили им выбрать другое место для акции.
Конфликт зоозащитниц с сотрудниками приюта произошел 3 декабря. Волонтерки заметили погрузку собак в грузовик с бурятскими номерами. Они предположили, что животным грозит эвтаназия, и перекрыли выезд с территории приюта. Сотрудники «Пяти звезд» применили силу к женщинам.
