Перевожу книгу по диджитал-арту и местами ощущаю себя так, словно автор меня газлайтит. Или о том, почему важно смотреть на картинки, когда переводишь (если в книге есть иллюстрации). Первая картинка. Фраза, которую при любых других обстоятельствах я перевела бы как "два ЗЕЛЕНЕЕ, чем один". Но я смотрю на картинку и ВИЖУ, что не зеленее оно. Ну не с моим же цветовосприятием что-то не так. Потом до меня наконец доходит посмотреть на цветовую шкалу ниже. В случае 2 тон больше сдвинут к зеленому в цветовом круге, да. Именно это автор и имел в виду.
Фраза два "я выбрала желтый оттенок для этой области". Но я ВИЖУ арт, он не желтоватый. Картинка-пояснение даёт ответ на вопрос - это чёрный, сдвинутый в сторону желтого тона на всё том же цветовом круге 🥲
