В минувшее воскресенье в клубе NEOFIT состоялись соревнования по жиму штанги лёжа «Народный жим». Перед началом соревнований с приветственным словом к участникам обратился организатор соревнований, второй секретарь Кохомского горкома КПРФ по развитию спорта Дмитрий Шевырин. Он напомнил спортсменам о технике выполнения и проинструктировал по очередности выступлений участников. Активное участие в мероприятии приняли участие комсомольцы Ивановского обкома ЛКСМ РФ.
Участники соревнований выходили на помост в своей возрастной категории, а вес штанги зависел от собственного веса. Победитель высчитывался по коэффициенту атлетизма.
По результатам соревнований участники получили медали, дипломы, абонементы от фитнес-клуба NEOFIT и подарки от магазина спортивного питания PROTEIN 37.
