За первый квартал 2021 года в Кемеровской области смертность в два раза превысила рождаемость: естественная убыль населения составила 5267 человек. По смертности регион оказался на третьем месте после Красноярского края (10 867) и Новосибирской области (10 818).
Как сообщили в Министерстве здравоохранения Кузбасса, в структуре смертности населения первые места занимают болезни системы кровообращения, злокачественные новообразования, внешние причины, болезни органов пищеварения и органов дыхания.
